Your contribution to Appalachian Animal Rescue is used to save animals lives. Donations are used to provide food, medical care and shelter for animals. The money also helps us provide services and  programs to our community, including adoption events and spay/neuter programs. Please consider giving today!

We are always in need of food for our furry friends and other items that are needed to keep the shelter clean. As a shelter that runs solely off of donations, we will always accept and be grateful for any item that is donated for our animals.  We have a wishlist of food items we would prefer to receive, only because it makes it easier on our furry friends if their food does not change on a weekly basis.

Donations can be dropped off at our shelter, thrift store, Appalachian Dental Associates or Mountain Willow.

We accept donations at our thrift store during the hours of 10-3 Monday through Saturday.  Sales from donations at our thrift store go directly to the costs of running the humane society.
